The Borehole scooped Gold in the Pub of the Year category at the Enjoy Staffordshire Tourism Awards 2019. Thanks to everyone for your support this has been an amazing award winning year for our little pub!

The Borehole is a micro pub on the edge of Stone serving the Lymestone Brewery beers and a range of sophisticated wines and spirits

A true Community pub, The Borehole is a small micro pub, the second brewery tap for the Lymestone Brewery which is only 50 meters away!

With a capacity for only 60 people, the Borehole has a warm and friendly feel to it and welcomes children up to 8pm and dogs all day!

Winner of the 2019 CAMRA Pub of the Year Award The Borehole is a multi Award winning site. Tourism Awards for Dog Friendly pub of the year, CAMRA awards and holders of the Taste of Staffs, Staffordshire Environmental Quality Mark and Destination Staffordshire mark The Borehole out as place worth visiting.

With a log burning stove, comfy sofa and a private rear beer garden there is something for everyone at the Borehole and the well trained and knowledgeable staff look forward to welcoming you. A menu of light home made meals and snacks is available all day from 12pm to 8pm.

The Borehole also hosts a monthly Tasting Club. Membership of the Club costs just £15 per person and provides a goodie box on joining and then £5 per ticket reduction on all tasting events through the year. Memberships are limited due to the size of the venue and can be purchased at the bar.
