Our tours are a great way to learn about brewing, sample our beers, and check out the brewery. Why not book a tour for a fun night out with friends? Each tour takes about two hours and always starts with a beer from the bar! Private tours are available on request, so contact us for more details.

our brewery taps

Brewery taps
Lymestone Brewery has three brewery taps. The Lymestone Vaults has the whole range of Lymestone award-winning cask ales on tap, as well as guest ales and real ciders.
The Borehole in Stone is just a stone’s throw from the brewery. Log-burning stoves with old leather sofas and armchairs create welcome environments.
The Quiet Woman in Leek opened its doors as our latest Lymestone pub in 2017.
Our pubs have won awards from CAMRA and the Staffordshire Tourism Awards

As a community pub, The Borehole and the brewery team are always looking for ways to support the community and give something back for the wonderful support we receive.

Do you work from home? Would you like to meet other home workers and share ideas or solve problems? Come and join in with our Homeworkers Hub.

Running every Monday from 22 January from 1-3pm this group has been set up to enable people working at home to meet up with others, socialise and problem solve. It is not a place to sell products, but of course useful contacts can be made and shared.

On arrival you will be provided with a free tea or coffee - just let our staff know you are there for the Hub.

Bring your laptop, tablet and dog if you wish! We look forward to welcoming you to The Borehole and growing a support network in Stone for home workers.

Love is in the air with our seasonal cask ale for February, Heart of Stone, with Crystal malts and Cascade hops entwined in a loving Lymestone embrace!

Sophisticated, full-bodied and eager to please, this divine 4.4% ale may tempt you to stay a while longer. Look out for it throughout February at The Borehole, The Quiet Woman and The Lymestone Vaults, as well as at selected other outlets.

We might all still be shivering through the winter, but at The Borehole - our brewery tap in Stone - we've got one eye on warmer weather after work started in earnest on a brand new beer garden.

The groundworks have all been completed and we're aiming to have the beer garden ready for you in time for Easter.  It will be a lovely addition to our popular, dog-friendly pub in Stone!

As part of our 10th anniversary year, we're aiming to set up a Lymestone Home Brew Club. It will be a place for home brewers to share their skills, knowledge (and beer), to widen their appreciation of the world's finest drink and to improve the beer they make themselves.

If you're a total beginner interested in getting into home brewing, or an experienced brewer looking to improve your beers, then do get in touch by emailing  david.lymestone@btconnect.com so that we can gauge interest in this and hopefully get the club up and running.
